BUG: Openai API for enter.pollinations.ai doesn't work

I've tried to access the openai- compatible API at https://enter.pollinations.ai/api/generate/openai but it doesn't seem to work, I've been getting
{"success":false,"error":{"message":"Oh no, there's nothing here.","code":"NOT_FOUND","timestamp":"2025-11-04T15:44:45.861Z"},"status":404}

when using it. Standard generate/text/{prompt} works completely fine. Please take this into consideration.

Hey! The endpoint is working fine - just needs a POST request instead of GET 👍

Working example:

I tested wand it returns valid responses. The 404 happens because /api/generate/openai only accepts POST requests with OpenAI-compatible JSON.

For simple text generation, you can also use:

curl "https://enter.pollinations.ai/api/generate/text/YOUR_PROMPT?key=YOUR_API_KEY"

How would I go about putting this in openwebui? It doesn't seem to work. And yes I have made a post request before.

Wouldn't the base endpoint thing not work? since the request is sent to https://enter.pollinations.ai/api/generate/openai/chat/completions and not generate/Openai?
I think this can cause many issues, I recommend switching to a "base api" format like https://text.pollinations.ai/openai
