Streamlit popup

This pops up every few minutes when I have Streamlit installed.

If I disable the extension "rstudio.rstudio-workbench" and this popup stops.
I believe it is related to "Run Streamlit App in Terminal" automatically running.

How do I disable either the popup or automatically refreshing an app?

@aw-west thank you for the feedback and sorry for the bad experience! We can definitely improve this. I've let the team know about it and will post back here with any updates.

In the meantime, you can continue to work around this by disabling the rstudio.rstudio-workbench extension or temporarily removing the port entry from your .streamlit/config.toml and unsetting STREAMLIT_SERVER_PORT if it is set.

Thanks for reporting this @aw-west, I've implemented a fix that should make the warning appear less often and added a setting to completely disable the warning posit.workbench.showWorkbenchStreamlitHint. This will be included in the 2026.10 release of Posit Workbench.
