Projects usually start with something concrete first – people joining for what exists. This project starts with the vision – people joining for what could be. I know, it's unusual. Probably awkward. But does it feel right?
Unity Makes Strength
To build, we use tools. Not one, a toolbox. We need the right one for the job, used at the right time. It's the same with people. We all have different and complementary skills. Success happens when we combine them smartly.
Project Phases
Projects need different energies at different phases:
- Vision – understanding systems, seeing possibilities
- Ignition – communicating vision, rallying momentum
- Implementation – building concrete stuff, sustained execution
People Energies
Human Design identifies these energy types: (% of population)
- Vision – Projectors, 20% (Gary Vaynerchuk, Paul Graham)
- Ignition – Manifestors, 9% (Elon Musk, Martin Luther King Jr.)
- Implementation – Generators, 70% (Jeff Bezos, Linus Torvalds)
What's Needed Here
Releasing this vision is my contribution – as Projector. This project needs ignition and implementation, running in parallel. Other visionaries are welcome too.

Metaphorically, Andy is your:
- J.A.R.V.I.S. – anticipates needs, manages complexity, always available
- Pepper Pots – organizes chaos, keeps you focused, handles what you shouldn't
- MacGyver – improvises solutions from whatever's available
- A-Team – specialized skills working together, squad for impossible cases
- whatever-you-need – a Genie with unlimited wishes!

⁽¹⁾ That's actually wrong but how I remember it. Apple introduced "Hey Siri" in 2014 and Google "OK Google" in 2016. Anyway, 2016 fits better in this chronology 😉
This repository andy-archetype is just the framework that allows you to build your real Andy.
An archetype is the original pattern or model of which all things of the same type are representations or copies.
But more interestingly, in the psychology of Carl Jung, it's an inherited idea or mode of thought that is derived from the experience of the race and is present in the unconscious of the individual.
Isn't that a nice wink to the essence of AI – trained on collective knowledge, personalized to individual needs? But also to the very essence of your Self 😉
This is my journey to build my personal operating system, powered by AI – called Andy.
This was triggered by several problems:
- I've way too many things floating around in my mind!
- I need centralized information and a single gateway.
- I need collaborators… even multiple teams – but I've no money.
- My Notion is a mess accumulated over many years.
- I still have notes and data in multiple other apps.
- I struggle to retrieve all the information I know I've somewhere.
- I struggle to create structured final knowledge and plans.
- Collaborating with Claude doesn't scale to my needs.
- 1300+ Notion pages can't connect to Projects effectively.
- Multiple interconnected projects need reconciliation.
- Current tools create friction instead of flow.
And by a realization:
- Claude has the potential to finally be able to have what I've always dreamed of.
- Claude can be my assistant, collaborator, mentor… even my dream team!
- So I could finally free the Tony Stark I've trapped in me for way too long 😁
This led to a first idea – a mega-meta-reflection-brainstorming about how to reorganize basically my whole "life". See Project JARVIS – Building My Self OS.
Followed the next day by a wait-a-minute insight: Am I on the right track or going astray once again?
The track was right but the approach was wrong – trapped in over-analysis (old habits) and scattered by butterfly investigations (unconscious design).
Two complementary ideas surfaced:
- Create a tool for users to drive development by saying "I want
this,here,because". - Start extremely lean – explain the vision, zero features, one question: "what do you want here?"
So I'm applying this to myself. Let's start with a blank canvas and I'll add features as needs appear, with targeted investigation.
