Stretch
Stretch is a calm, local-only menu bar and tray app for macOS and Windows
that invites you to stretch for one minute, every 30. It has no server,
no accounts, and no telemetry — your settings and streak live in a single
JSON file on your machine.
Stretch is aimed at knowledge workers who sit for long stretches of the day
and want a gentle, non-punitive way to break up their sessions. Its design
principle is "quiet by default": reminders are suppressed during quiet hours,
when Windows Focus Assist is on, when the user is presenting full-screen, and
when the keyboard has been idle for more than ten minutes. Keyboard shortcuts
(Enter to complete, Esc to snooze, S to skip) let users dismiss reminders
without reaching for a mouse. On Windows, the app ships as a signed NSIS
installer and self-updates every six hours via GitHub Releases. On macOS,
the app ships as an ad-hoc signed DMG (universal binary for arm64 + x64).
