why criteo adapter has been removed?

I have seen in the git history that you had an adapter of criteo in the past but at some point it has been removed.

why? Will it be reintegrated at some point?

Criteo requested the previous version be removed while they are working towards a reintegration with Prebid. We'll publish the Criteo adapter as soon as it's available.
