Since the owner of this repo seems to be AFK, I've begun getting the prism package updated in our fork. We use Prism a lot across several projects so it is advantageous for us to keep it updated. Anyone interested in using it can find it here

Status update: the first pass through this repo's entire pending backlog is done. Between v0.101.0 and v0.109.0 (July 5–7) we adjudicated all ~50 open PRs here: merged what passed our test gates, cleanly reimplemented what couldn't be rebased, and documented rationale for what we rejected.

Highlights:

• All 25 open security alerts resolved (v0.102.0). Note: Laravel 11 support was dropped — no patched 11.x release line exists.
• Human-in-the-loop tool approval (Feat: 🛠️ Add client-executed tools & human-in-the-loop tool approval flow #932 / Human-in-the-loop / Tool confirmation #921): Tool::requiresApproval() / clientExecuted(), deny-by-default resume, streaming approval events — on all 18 providers.
• New providers: Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI, Qwen, Replicate, Requesty.
• Anthropic adaptive thinking, provider-agnostic withReasoning(), batches + files APIs, streaming citations, tool-argument coercion, cost tracking in Usage, parallel tool execution fixes.
• Usage accounting normalized across every provider: promptTokens excludes cached tokens, cacheReadInputTokens reported wherever the API exposes it — several silent double-counting bugs fixed along the way.
• Test suite grew 1,463 → 1,884 (PHPStan clean), plus a new composer-require-checker CI gate.

It's a drop-in replacement — the Prism\Prism namespace is unchanged:

Docs are rendered from the installed package at https://ai.particle.academy, so they always match the released version.

Issues and PRs are welcome on the fork's tracker — security, bugs, and provider-API drift get priority; larger features are community-demand-driven.
