v2 Rewrite

Hi all,

I’ve been quietly working on v2, which is an entire rewrite from the ground up! You can check it out now on the next branch.

There isn’t a timeframe for the official alpha launch yet, but over the coming weeks or months, I’ll be looking through projects that have used this library in the past. I’m hoping to use that feedback to iron out bugs, identify missing features, and make v2 more useful before the alpha release.

Feedback, ideas, and suggestions are welcome in the new discussions forum.
