Proxy Switchboard 1.2.0

Security

  • Local Settings API now requires a per-session auth token + Host/Origin validation (blocks drive-by config tampering); XSS fixes in the Statistics view.

New

  • Route tester: ask "how would this host be routed?" and see the matching rule (macOS + web UI).
  • Per-proxy latency Test buttons — works on unsaved edits; "tested Xs ago" timestamps.
  • Live engine status badge with Start/Stop in the web Settings; first-launch onboarding on macOS.

Improved

  • Menu opens instantly (no more freezes); clearer on/off icons; failure dot only for proxies actually in use and updates immediately on switch.
  • Delete confirmations with rule-usage warnings + undo; validation before save with jump-to-field.
  • Modern web Settings UI with automatic dark mode; all 13 languages complete incl. Arabic RTL; Windows language auto-detection.
  • macOS: notarized build, redesigned proxy list and Statistics window.

Performance

  • Idle RAM 110 MB → ~10 MB (windows torn down on close); bundle 21 MB → 15 MB.
  • Log rotation (app + MITM logs); Shadowsocks buffer reuse; WireGuard auto-retry; smarter polling backoff.
