This issue has been resolved by the fixes in PR #212.

Root Cause: The checksum updater had a bug where it tried to call self.checksum_manager.update_registry_bzl() but the field was actually named self.manager. This caused the tool to fail silently, producing empty/invalid JSON output that caused the jq parse error.

Fix: PR #212 fixed multiple issues:

1. Corrected the field reference from self.checksum_manager to self.manager
2. Fixed registry.bzl marker names from hardcoded_data to fallback_data
3. Updated wasm-tools to v1.241.2 with correct checksums for all platforms

The next automated checksum update should succeed with these fixes in place.
