| We're actively developing policy around Generative AI use in packages submitted for review—addressing licensing concerns, disclosure requirements, and ensuring code quality standards. There are no clear answers yet, but we're learning together, one careful policy conversation at a time. |

this needs more - mention eliot's role and contributions -- the eic's that have supported this work. and the editors htat have stepped up when other editors needed to mentally take a break...
