Driveway Sensor support?

Greetings. One of the sensors on my alarm.com panel (I believe it's a GE Concord) is a driveway sensor. My understanding is that this is a magnetic sensor of sorts than when it detects a car, it closes a contact which a sensor picks up and transmits wireless to the concord system. This then triggers a chime on the keypads. In the alarm.com website, it's known as a "Door/Window or Motion - Chime Only".

So, I know the sensor is working because the keypad chimes; also, I built a "notification" in alarm.com that when this sensor triggers, to send me a push notification - this works.

However, it seems that HA never sees this sensor trigger. perhaps it is happening to quickly? I am not sure if this is something that is pushed from alarm.com -> HA, or HA is polling and doesn't see because the polling isn't fast enough or timed correctly.
