[Bug] system-wide failure #2475

Description

@XeniaShabanova

I am programming an RC car using Pybricks for Spike Prime. Everything worked fine for a couple of days. Then I tried adding a button to switch the headlights on (in a copy of my program). After that, when starting any program, the car immediately begins to spin one motor endlessly and does not allow the remote to connect.

I assumed it was just a coding error, so I uploaded my previous program that was 100% functional — but the problem remained. The motor keeps spinning and the remote cannot connect.

I tried the following, but nothing helped:

-Reinstalling the Pybricks app

-Uploading a previously working program

-Creating and running a brand-new minimal test program

Even the simplest new program does not run correctly. It looks like a global/system-wide failure of the hub.

How can I fully reset the hub and clear this error? The day after tomorrow my 9-year-old son is participating in an exhibition, and he is very proud of his project. Our project is at risk. = (
