Current orbit.py is not compatible with Python 3.10 which some labs still have in their control rooms.

@TeresiaOlsson I think you can modify the pyproject.toml to require python3.10. Then, in theory, the CI/CD tests will fail when incompatibility is broken. Also, some labs (SOLEIL) have an embarrassing python 3.6 in the control room. However, we aim to change that rapidly to a modern Python version (3.11+).
