Two to-do's before this can be merged:

  • Introduce a dependency from the IDLE package to the Tcl/Tk package which prevents installing IDLE without Tcl/Tk and uninstalling Tcl/Tk without IDLE.
  • Ensure that when upgrading from an installation with Tcl/Tk installed, the IDLE package will also be installed, and that reversely, when upgrading from an installation without Tcl/Tk, IDLE won't be installed.

Unfortunately, I can't find proper documentation on how to do either in WIX.
