I.e. if I try to write a PEP so that workflow tools have a default location that they should put a virtual environment in, would you consider that under the SC's purview or packaging?

Hi @brettcannon - the SC discussed this and we request that you go ahead and write the PEP (since you're going to anyway), and not block on this decision. It's likely that we'll delegate it to the packaging authority, but we do want to wait to read the PEP before we make a final decision. Does that work for you?

Yes and no. 😉 Yes as in it won't block me when I have the time for writing a PEP, but no as it means I don't know where to discuss the idea on DPO. It's not the worst issue to have, but it does mean I have to be a bit somewhat bold in assuming the idea isn't entirely ridiculous (but I know you all know that none of this has stopped me writing a PEP before 😁).
