Systems programmer focused on building tools that stay out of your way. I work mostly on data pipelines and CLI utilities — the kind of software that does its job quietly and doesn't ask for much.
Tech I reach for:
- Python (primary — scripting, pipelines, tooling)
- Go (when I need something fast and self-contained)
- Shell (for glue and automation)
- SQL, Arrow, DuckDB for data work
What I'm working on:
Mostly internal tooling around data ingestion and transformation — nothing public yet, but that'll change.
What I'm learning:
Getting more comfortable with Go for building standalone CLI tools. Also digging into stream processing patterns.
