v1. Especially when it comes to libtorrent in general. LB v2 shows the dilapidated state of software where newer versions end up drastically inferior. Lastly, as of qB 5.2.0 beta1, most of the UI in the web client is broken using LB v2 in qB (or missing). Which ultimately leads me to wonder even if LB v2 was an improvement, the entire torrent space doesn't have oodles of coders to go around, so what good is something if nothing makes use of it? Stick with v1. v2 introduces a SLEW of issues that most projects that use it, don't have the resources to fill. There is nothing v1 can't do for 99.9% of users and is perfect example of don't fix what ain't broke. But coders gotta code, amirite! Edit: Corrected for accuracy as Transmission uses libtransmission, not libtorrent. |

Hi all, which libtorrent version is considered more stable now? FYI I'm on Windows 10.
I read some conflicting opinions about it, which is why I decided to ask here. Thanks
1.x is better
2.x is better
