Cadence

Cadence is a native local music player for macOS 26 and later. It keeps the library on the Mac, preserves source files during import, and focuses on lossless playback, tags, smart collections, playlists, synchronized lyrics, and a quiet Apple-style interface.

Project status

Cadence is in early development. The public repository is source-only and does not currently provide signed binaries or a GitHub Release.
