Snapping creating digitizing troubles in 3.40.4

What is the bug or the crash?

When snapping is activated in 3.40.4, digitizing seems to create vertices somewhere really far south.
Tried it with different layers and different snapping options.

Steps to reproduce the issue

1 : Activate snapping tools
2 : Activate Add feature tool
3 : Snap to a feature and click to add a vertex
