Main Layout
The main layout of Captain's Log is divided into 3 different tabs.
This is the default page.
The Your Adventure page will initially be blanked but after you create your own player character in the app they will show up here. This page gives you access to summary information from your adventure.
You'll see your character name and rank along the top. Below that is a few action buttons for recording your adventure. You'll also see an image of your character and the vessel they are currently assigned to.
The actions bar is located just under the character's name and rank on the Your Adventure screen. This area contains utilities for playing Captain's Log. To read more about the actions bar here.
Contains a list of all vessels that you have created. While vessel usually means a starship, it can also mean starbase or space station if your game requires that. Filters can be applied using the filter box to limit what ships show up. By default, no filters are applied and all created vessels show up.
Clicking on any vessel will bring up it's detailed information.
Clicking on the + button will bring up a popup to create a new vessel. Before you can create any characters you have to create a vessel for them to be assigned to.
Contains a list of all created characters. Characters can be player characters, or non-player characters. Filters can be applied using the filter box to limit what characters show up. By default, no filters are applied and all created characters show up.
Clicking on any character will bring up their detailed information.
Clicking on the + button will bring up a popup to create a new character. Characters need a name, a ship to be assigned to, and a department within the ship to work in. You can select an existing department from the provided suggestions, or create a new department by entering any value that is not suggested.
