Finally some BIG IMPROVEMENTS for macOS with a whole load of CPU and ancillary tweaks that I have managed to sort out.

The main reason that 1.16 is beta, is that I wanted to test out the new beta alert system that went into the release 1.15. But the code should be good to. I just wanted to see how people would react to installing beta .... Any feedback on the Mac tweaks that is able to be added before final release would be great of course too.

Everybody's mileage will vary so there's a whole slew of custom flags for the .conf file that you can play around with too.

I am still stuck with a 5 year old Intel mid-range test machine. Some of you will have newer Ryzen's. Others will have even older machines on their desks. Such is life, the RAM crisis and the all-in-the-air release of recent hardware ....

For me, I have been able to see huge speed improvements and success with Mac releases all the way up to Sequoia. This is with the new default qqX settings.

Tahoe may well be possible, but with different or newer host CPU's maybe, or perhaps this and some of the option tweaks.
