The tpm_tis_spi probe fails with -110 because the TPM is not yet ready when the driver performs its first SPI access. This happens early in boot before the TPM finishes its internal power‑up/self‑test sequence and SPI is trying to access tpm.
Even though the initial probe times out, the TPM becomes ready shortly afterward, and all runtime TPM communication works normally. So, this probe failure does not impact TPM functionality.
