We use version 3.33.4 in a Quarkus application and we have a unittest with @QuarkusTest. When running the test, we get a stackdump which does not occur in version 3.33.3.3. Stackdump:

Hi @eekhoorn01, thanks for the report. From the stack trace, I assume the following happens:

• You use Jacoco code coverage
• Jacoco adds the $jacocoInit(...) method to io.quarkiverse.cxf.QuarkusCxfContextUtils
• Our class transformer that replaces method bodies of org.apache.cxf.ws.addressing.ContextUtils by calls to same-name methods of io.quarkiverse.cxf.QuarkusCxfContextUtils fails at checking that all methods of io.quarkiverse.cxf.QuarkusCxfContextUtils were replaced.
• It's because there is no such method $jacocoInit(...) in org.apache.cxf.ws.addressing.ContextUtils

That solve that for you, we could perhaps ignore Jacoco methods.

We could actually ignore all synthetic methods as we are quite sure that the methods to which want to delegate are non-synthetic. That would make it work also for other possible frameworks, which inject methods for whatever reasons.

Yes, the code throwing the exception is new in Quarkus Platform 3.33.4 (which uses Quarkus CXF 3.33.12 under the hood).
