Quarkus 4.0.0.Beta1

When do you plan to provide a version that relies on Quarkus 4?

Cool, that's great, that you would like to test. I am working on it. JVM mode works already. We agreed with Camel Quarkus team that I will release QCXF tomorrowish (Wed Oct 11, 2026) even with broken native mode (as an Alpha) if it is not ready by then.

I was able to fix all native test failures yesterday.

I released QCXF 4.0.0.Beta1 earlier today. Quarkus team should include it in Platform 4.0.0.Beta1.

I integrated it already. I did not see any failures on our extensions so far, even in native (I do have some issues but nbot related to cxf). I suspect our test suite does not have a perfect coverage on our use of cxf (which is limited to doing soap for legacy apps). so success so far is a good sign, but not an absolute proof. I will dig deeper, including migrating one of our soap server. I will reach out if I find any issues. but so far so good.
I will look nonetheless at your migration guide and search for things that needed to be done.

Correct, beta 2 will have trace sampling fixed in tests: quarkusio/quarkus#57181
