This is a minor version upgrade. An intermediate version, 5.2.0, introduced an erroneous breaking change related to the extended query parser. However, the target version 5.2.1 was released specifically to revert this change. [1, 3] Therefore, upgrading from 5.1.0 to 5.2.1 is considered safe and does not contain breaking changes.
