Missing flight line data

Hi,

I'm relatively new to lidR, and point clouds in general.

I've collected data using an L2 sensor, and processes it in DJI terra. When I read it into R, I'm missing flight line data:

🛈 'PointSourceID' attribute is not populated
🛈 'ScanDirectionFlag' attribute is not populated
🛈 'EdgeOfFlightline' attribute is not populated

My RTK quality is excellent for the entire mission. Any ideas why this is missing?

RTK is about georeferencing. It not related to these attributes. From what I'm understanding you are flying a drone yourself. Your drone does not record EdgeOfFlighline and EdgeOfFlighline or at least you did not configure it to record I don't know. PointSourceID could be populated by you. In all cases it is only informative messages. Those fields are 0. Not a big deal.

Yes, I flew the drone myself.

How do I populate PointSourceID? I'm trying to normalize_intensity, which requires PointSourceID for the track_sensor function as a preliminary step - as I understand.

Point source ID is supposed to record and ID for each flightline. You are the only one able to tell where are the flightlines. Maybe you could use gptime. Also I don't think you need PointSourceID anyway.
