DesignMind is a toolkit for evidence-based, cognitively-informed, and human-centred architectural design. The toolkit includes four complementary modules: (1) evidence-based design flashcards, (2) topological and geometric analysis, (3) agent-based simulation, and (4) cognitive walkthrough in virtual reality. The first release of DesignMind includes modules (3) and (4).

DesignMind is a non-profit collaborative project being conducted by authors with different backgrounds, career paths, and levels of involvement. While the combination of individual contributions is what makes this toolbox so powerful, the authors acknowledge the imperfections of large collaborations and kindly ask for patience and understanding. The authors welcome feedback, hints, and bug reports to continuously improve the toolkit.
