Newer Kubernetes Versions

I appreciate the release to get us up to at least 1.33.0 but that is not even the latest patch release for 1.33. It also goes EOL in 6 months. Is there anything you guys can do to increase the release cadence of new versions for security and compatibility reasons?

@Utkarsh-PF9 it has been 8 months with no new versions. can we get some word on this? upgrading k8s is not supposed to be an infrequent thing as they themselves release new versions on a regular schedule with feature, security, and bug fixes.

@OrangeDrangon Appreciate the follow-up, the team has been heads-down on making spot more stable, which is what pulled bandwidth away from the k8s version bump, we are well aware that the current version is already EOL, and getting newer version out is a priority,
we'll be actively working on it and will share an update here soon

BTW the version that's running right now (at least in my cluster) is very old. The major is already EOL'ed and the minor that's running was releases in september 2024. I really think this should be a priority.
