Crash when switching between shell terminal and Claude Code tabs in a workspace

Symptom

Occasional whole-application crash when clicking on one of the shell terminal tabs while in a workspace.

Repro (intermittent)

1. Open a session with a Claude Code tab.
2. Create a new shell terminal tab.
3. Do something in the shell tab so focus is there.
4. Click back to the Claude Code tab.
5. Click back to the shell tab.

Sometimes step 5 crashes the whole app.

Notes

• I didn't get a chance to capture the crash log / stack trace yet — investigating that should be the first step.
• Investigate and figure out what the underlying error is, then fix.
