[BUG] Not working on Gradle 7 projects

Hello I am getting the following error when applying the plugin into the app gradle file
It is happening in projects using gradle 7.0 and above only and working normally on other projects

Bad invokespecial instruction: current class isn't assignable to reference class.

Hi @MohamadIsmail321Neo, thanks for reporting! I have reproduced it straight away when setting a project with Gradle 7. Not sure if it's caused by their groovy version or by Java 11, also required by Gradle 7. I will research it and fix it for the next version.

Unfortunately I can not release just a hotfix with this changes as jCenter is discontinued and I need to migrate into Maven Central before publishing any new artifact/version. I will let you know here when the next version get released, but it could be in a couple of weeks.
