Karacookie 0.2.0 — with icon

v0.1.0 + real app icon (cookie + music note).

Install

1. Download Karacookie-0.2.0-mac-unsigned.zip below
2. Unzip → drag Karacookie.app to your /Applications folder
3. First open: right-click Karacookie.app → Open → Open again in the dialog (one-time bypass for unsigned builds; v1.0 signed coming soon)
4. macOS asks: "Karacookie wants to control Spotify" → click OK
5. Play any song. Lyrics flow.

Karacookie 0.1.0 — macOS (unsigned)

First public release. macOS 14+.

Install

1. Download Karacookie-0.1.0-mac-unsigned.zip below
2. Unzip → drag Karacookie.app to your /Applications folder
3. First open: macOS will say "Karacookie can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software." This is because v0.1 is not yet signed with a Developer ID — fix is one of:
   • Right-click Karacookie.app → Open → confirm in the dialog, OR
   • System Settings → Privacy & Security → scroll to "Karacookie was blocked" → Open Anyway
4. The app then asks: "Karacookie wants to control Spotify" → click OK
5. Play any song. Lyrics flow.
