Is Solid Cache suitable for session storage?

I'm currently using Redis for my session storage and this is the last link to Redis that I have in my app. I'm considering either Solid Cache or Active Record Session Store.

I assume in using Solid Cache for the store, the usual caveats would be eviction of sessions that may not be expected by users. In Redis I'm using allkeys-lfu as the eviction policy and it looks like Solid Cache uses FIFO so perhaps it would be inappropriate.

Might be easier to stick with Redis :D

It's probably not ideal for session storage, though I guess neither is Redis with eviction. But Redis will be better because you are using LRU.

Indeed, and I have a 512MB allocation for memory, so users aren't likely to have their sessions evicted if they use them semi-regularly:

maxmemory 512mb
maxmemory-policy allkeys-lfu
maxmemory-samples 10
appendonly yes
appendfsync always

Something to ponder I guess :)
