Integration With Workmux & Other Tools

Hello,
I'm currently setting up a workflow that utilizes workmux and aven (for agent tasks). I have configured a custom TUI command in $HOME/.config/aven/commands/dispatch-workmux, but your documentation states that "Custom TUI commands are experimental and may change or be removed in a future release.". Seeing as you're the primary dev on workmux as well, I'm wondering if an official integration may be on the roadmap or if you had considered one. I've read the docs on "Working with agents", but don't see much on integration with other tools like workmux or even a multi-agent orchestration framework like CrewAI, LangGraph, etc, where aven could be advantagous.

I'd also be quite keen to hear about anyone else that has integrated aven with workmux or other tools and frameworks.

Hey, thanks for the thread.

No official integration currently on the roadmap, I added the custom commands for this purpose to be able to launch tasks in a new worktree for example. I would be happy to hear how you are using it and if it's useful.

The way I use aven with workmux is generally just have a "main agent" running and do /worktree do TASK-ABC1, with maybe some another skill in there as well like /worktree /feature TASK-ABC1 if I'm aiming for specific workflow. Workmux's coordinator skill is also useful and lately with pi I've also been using https://github.com/raine/pi-suba to coordinate subagents (workmux worktree support WIP)

My man, pi-suba (subagent plugin w/tmux pane integration) + workmux (Running headless to manage worktrees) + aven (Durable task ledger for agents) = AWESOME!
