Was very funny except for the part on identity politics. If you go to Africa I'm sure there are more black devs than white ones and if you go to a country where women actually are oppressed they tend to work more in stem fields [0] because they feel more pressure to work and live in less oppressive countries, and a stem education gives them a way out. But the mistake is forgivable for someone that has lived and worked in SF for a long time. |
