My personal opinion is this is weird design wise and I would like a full confirmation from Lekmod that this is the intended design and not just weird holdovers from initially not wanting maize and wheat to be functionally the same. I'm pretty sure this is not the only spot where Rekmod is explicitly different from Lekmod (there's various liberties I made with the anti naval promotions for ranged units to be consistent with the intended design, and helicopter promotions are a mess rn), though it is the most obvious

I agree it is very weird design wise, I'd expect granaries to affect Maize and stables to affect Bison, but currently both stables and Argentina are weaker than they're supposed to be.

Weaker than Lekmod, yes. Weaker than they're supposed to be? I actually disagree, I think it's extremely unlikely. I highly doubt Argentina buffs Maize intentionally, but rather as a consistency thing
