Lower idle memory and CPU usage, and restore the WhatsApp right-click context menu.

What's new since v1.1.0

  • Lower idle memory & CPU - the app now throttles to EcoQoS while idle in the background, cutting CPU and RAM usage significantly.
  • Right-click menu fixed - the right-click context menu (copy/paste, etc.) is restored inside WhatsApp Web.
  • Low-end device mode - an optional setting advises the WebView2 runtime to use its built-in memory-saving mode.
  • Safer account loading - corrupted or interrupted accounts files no longer wipe your saved accounts; they are backed up and preserved.

How to install

Download WaDeskLightSetup.exe (recommended) or WhatsApp.exe, run it, scan the QR code, done. Requires Windows 10/11 with Edge WebView2 Runtime.
