Grok recommended BeeRef as a modern FOSS alternative to late 90s PolyView

TLDR, I love this app! - I was playing around on a Windows 95 virtual box with 1998 proprietary software named "Poly View" and I appreciated its unique feature of having a main window with tab-less floating windows inside it displaying images. I was disappointed my installed FOSS image viewers "Nomacs, Eye of GNOME, Feh, and Pix" couldn't do anything like that.

I was thinking to myself "man, Windows 95 software does something cool modern FOSS can't do". I did quick web searches for PolyView alternatives in FOSS and found nothing useful, then I asked X.com's AI Grok to find me modern FOSS PolyView alternatives and carefully described the features. Floating Windows of images inside a main window Grok recommended your app BeeRef top, and once I tried it I fell in love. Its like PolyView but better as I can bookmark image positions as .bee files and rotate images, Poly View couldn't do that.
