how can i exit from full screen when connection is disconnected?

When the network is fine, I can type ctrl+alt+enter to exit the full screen. But When network is bad, how can i exit the full screen to Linux? Finally, I got the information :"Tryied to reconnect for 70 minutes, give up.",  then the process is overed and exit to linux screen.
