I built react-native-view-recorder because I wanted a way for users to create shareable videos from my own apps, and there was no good solution since ffmeg-kit got discontinued.
It captures views frame-by-frame using native APIs and encodes with hardware-accelerated H.264/HEVC. Supports audio, snapshots, and works great with Skia canvases.
