@nlbahadori as a temporary workaround do not use refs. Wrap your trigger component in MenuView as a children. E.g.:

<MenuView onPressAction={...} actions={...}>
  <MaterialIcon name="dots-vertical" />
</MenuView>

Or do not use newArch until fix will come.

Avoid using ref since it is not working on both iOS and Android. I am using React Native v0.77.0, and it works perfectly fine without ref. Simply add this code, or your own custom code, inside MenuView:

Hi everyone,

I’ve opened a PR that addresses this issue: #1152.
Until it gets reviewed and merged, you can use the patch file I’ve prepared to apply the fix immediately.

Once the PR is merged, the patch will no longer be necessary.

This doesn't work for me both newArchEnabled true/false. I also tried removing the ref={} and ref.current.show() as well. No luck!!
