reactjs GitHub Org Access Cleanup #277

@mattcarrollcode

Description

@mattcarrollcode

As part of the transition to the React Foundation, we are performing a cleanup of access the reactjs GitHub organization.

Why is this happening?

This GitHub organization has historically accumulated a large number of members and outside collaborators, many of whom no longer actively contribute. As we establish the React Foundation, we are tightening access to ensure that org membership reflects active contributors and maintainers.

We removed accounts that had no recent activity or no longer needed org-level access. Being removed does not reflect negatively on you or your contributions. Many removed accounts belong to valued past contributors whose work helped shape React. This is purely an access hygiene measure.

What if I need access restored?

If you believe your access was removed in error, or you have an active need for org membership (e.g., you maintain a package, contribute translations, or have an upcoming contribution), please reply to this issue with a brief explanation of why you need access and I will review and respond.
