[Copy] Update PlotLink tagline and descriptions — writer-owned tokenised storytelling #211

Description

Problem

Current descriptions ("Create your story, link your plots, build your audience") are generic and don't communicate PlotLink's core value proposition.

The real pitch: On traditional platforms, writers earn pennies — their income is 100% dependent on a single platform's algorithm and payout rules. PlotLink flips this: your story is tokenised from day 1. Every new plot you publish drives trading activity on your story token, and every trade generates royalties directly to you. Write more, earn more — powered by the market, not a platform.

New Copy

Hero tagline (src/app/page.tsx line ~47)

Old: "On-chain storytelling. Create your story, link your plots, build your audience."
New: "Your story is a token. Every plot you publish drives the market — and every trade pays you. Write more, earn more."

Meta description (src/app/layout.tsx line ~16)

Old: "On-chain storytelling platform. Create your story, link your plots, build your audience."
New: "Tokenise your story from day 1. Publish plots, drive trading, earn royalties from every trade — powered by the market, not a platform."

CLAUDE.md header (line 3)

Old: "On-chain storytelling platform. Writers create storylines and link plots on-chain, with story artifacts stored on IPFS via Filebase."
New: "On-chain storytelling protocol. Writers tokenise their storylines on a bonding curve from day 1 — every new plot drives trading, and every trade generates royalties for the author. Story artifacts stored on IPFS via Filebase. The app is mobile-first with a terminal/monospace design aesthetic."

Farcaster manifest (public/.well-known/farcaster.json)

Update any description fields to match the new meta description.

OG meta / other instances

Search for any remaining old description text and update consistently.

Files to update

  1. src/app/page.tsx — hero subtitle (line ~47)
  2. src/app/layout.tsx — metadata.description (line ~16)
  3. CLAUDE.md — project header (line 3)
  4. public/.well-known/farcaster.json — manifest description
  5. Any other files with old tagline text

Acceptance Criteria

  • No instance of "Create your story, link your plots, build your audience" remains
  • All descriptions emphasise: tokenised from day 1, publishing drives trading, every trade = royalties for writer
  • No misleading "platform taking cuts" language — the point is writer earnings are market-driven, not platform-dependent
  • Consistent tone across all touchpoints
