I was surprised to see there's nothing on JSON here, considering the existence of several good json libraries out there for python.

For example: I want to know why I should use simplejson vs the json module that ships with python.

@konarkmodi: You should just write something, then add a link in this discussion. Editing existing content is much easier for others to build upon than creating content that doesn’t yet exist. :)

Don’t worry about perfection—just write. Post it. Once you do, you’re more likely to get the feedback you want.

(And remember, you can always use ReST’s .. todo:: directive for placeholders, too!)

For what it's worth, I typically use Flask's wrapper (from flask import json) because it's consitent no matter what json library is installed on the system.

I believe it should be however that doesn't stop you from doing a PR to improve the section :)
