newborn.skill 🍼

The first 90 days. Survival mode.

A skill that learns your newborn's patterns when you're too exhausted to think. Cry decoder. Feeding tracker. Night shift intelligence. Comfort mapping.

License: MIT OpenClaw Hermes

⚠️ Not medical advice. Newborns are fragile. If ANYTHING concerns you, call your pediatrician. Don't wait. Don't Google. Call.

What It Does

Newborns can only eat, sleep, cry, and poop. But HOW they do these four things is unique to YOUR baby. newborn.skill finds those patterns when you're too tired to see them.

Key Features

Cry Decoder

Builds a cry dictionary for YOUR baby. Log what happened before, during, and after each cry. Over time: "Short sharp cries at this time = hungry. Long wailing after feeding = gas."

Feed-Sleep-Wake Cycle Tracker

Tracks your newborn's exact rhythm. Predicts next feed time, next nap window. "Based on the last 5 days, she usually gets hungry 2h15min after her last feed."

Night Shift Intelligence

Logs every night waking β€” who was on duty, what happened, how long it took. Helps parents coordinate and spot patterns.

Diaper Intelligence

Tracks frequency and patterns. "She hasn't pooped in 2 days β€” last time this happened was day 12, and she was fine."

Bonding & Comfort Mapping

What hold position works? Arms in or out for swaddle? Which nursing side? What room temperature? All tracked, all specific to YOUR baby.

Quick Status & Shift Handoff

Ask "how's she doing?" anytime for a snapshot. Hand off to another caregiver with a full summary.
