Automated by scripts/agent-branch-finish.sh (PR flow).

GuardeX now scaffolds both change and plan workspaces for agent branches, and the managed AGENTS guidance/template explicitly documents the expected OpenSpec directory shapes for every change. This makes spec-driven development the default across repos bootstrapped by gx setup/doctor.

Constraint: Existing GX bootstrap and agent workflow surfaces must stay backward-compatible for already-initialized repositories
Rejected: Documentation-only update without bootstrap script changes | would leave behavior and guidance out of sync across repos
Confidence: high
Scope-risk: moderate
Directive: Keep AGENTS template wording and bootstrap script behavior aligned when changing OpenSpec workflow contracts
Tested: node --test test/metadata.test.js
Tested: node --test test/install.test.js
Not-tested: End-to-end GitHub PR runtime flow on a freshly initialized external repository
