🐞[Bug]: Testimonial/Mentorship cards have poor text readability and inconsistent theme styling

Describe the bug

The testimonial/mentorship section on the homepage is visually inconsistent with the rest of the website theme.

Currently, the homepage hero/navbar follows a premium dark UI aesthetic, but the testimonial cards use lighter pastel backgrounds and low-contrast text, which reduces readability and breaks the visual consistency of the platform.

Issues observed:

• some text inside the cards is difficult to read because of low contrast
• button colors and typography do not fully align with the homepage branding
• card styling feels disconnected from the rest of the UI
• overall section looks visually inconsistent compared to the dark-themed hero section

This affects the overall user experience and visual polish of the homepage.

Expected behavior

Expected behavior

• testimonial/mentorship cards should match the website’s dark premium theme
• text inside cards should have proper contrast and readability
• button colors and typography should stay visually consistent with the homepage design system
• spacing, hierarchy, and responsiveness should feel polished across different screen sizes
• the section should blend naturally with the rest of the homepage UI

Hi @maintainers @sanjay-kv , I’d like to work on this issue under GSSoC’26.

I’ve already reviewed the homepage section structure and identified the styling inconsistencies affecting the testimonial/mentorship cards.

I’m planning to improve:

• text readability and contrast
• visual consistency with the dark homepage theme
• button and typography styling
• spacing and responsive behavior

I’ll make sure the redesign stays aligned with the existing design system while preserving accessibility and responsiveness.
