Best way currently to surface Tasks/Todos?

It is probably me, but I'm trying to understand how I can have tasks/todos in, say, meeting notes that are easily surfaced in a view. Maybe other apps (e.g., Bear, and even the newer Foldnotes) have built-in ways to do this.

In Tolaria should I think about using a Type? I don't think so because my understanding is that types are note-level, and I might want my type to be "Meetings" with tasks inside that note.

Also, semi-related, but I don't think Taskpaper-like formatting is supported right now, correct?
