**How to Use Code Templates in Xamarin Studio**

To add a template in Xamarin Studio, open Preferences > Code Templates.

Select Add, paste the template code into the Template Text panel, give it a shortcut and fill out any other fields you like.

In a code file, start typing the shortcut and hit tab to insert the template.
