Part Type import from Vendor

One thing that I was thinking would be a nice add to the Digikey import side. The "Part Type" field is somewhat limited in matches with the vendor lookups. For example, just tried entering an old bezel from my "Bin Of Shame", but the part type still had IC as the part type.

Wondering if there is a way to sync the part type list with the vendor type list. I know the Digikey API has an API for that. Wonder if others do to? What would this look like? A button on the new Organization Settings pages? Automagically include the part types when looking up? Anyone else have ideas? Should I go ahead and create a enhancement issue. I'd be glad to work on it.
