I've modified the docker file to use the non-deprecated version of the MAINTAINER tag, and compact the RUN commands to use that as a single stage for efficiency. I've also locked Ubuntu to the latest version (24.04), as the latest tag could cause problems down the line and might not be immediately obvious.
